Espresso Negroni

The bittersweet Italian classic reinterpreted with NORSE cold espresso concentrate. Complex, layered, and deeply satisfying.

A coffee lover's take on the iconic Negroni. Rye whiskey, Campari, and sweet vermouth stirred with Nørse cold espresso concentrate — bitter-sweet, complex, and endlessly elegant.

Ingredients

  • NORSE 8:1 cold espresso concentrate0.75 oz (22 ml)
  • Rye whiskey0.75 oz (22 ml)
  • Campari0.75 oz (22 ml)
  • Sweet vermouth0.5 oz (15 ml)
  • Orange peel, for garnish1 twist

Method

  1. 01

    Fill a mixing glass with ice.

  2. 02

    Add all ingredients: Nørse concentrate, rye whiskey, Campari, and sweet vermouth.

    Stir with a bar spoon for 30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted. Do not shake — this is a stirred cocktail.

    Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

  5. 05

    Hold the orange peel skin-side down and twist firmly over the drink to express the oils, then drop it in as garnish.

The bitter coffee and bitter Campari layer beautifully — balance with a quality sweet vermouth like Carpano Antica for best results.
