Hibiscus Sour

Floral hibiscus, cold brew, and citrus in a beautiful layered sour. One of our most striking serves.

A vibrant, floral mocktail built around NORSE Hibiscus Concentrate. Fresh mint and citrus muddled with honey and orange bitters, topped with soda for a refreshing, alcohol-free drink.

Ingredients

  • NORSE Hibiscus Concentrate1 oz (30 ml)
  • Fresh mint leaves6–8 leaves
  • Fresh squeezed lemon juice1 oz (30 ml)
  • Orange bitters4 dashes
  • Honey syrup¾ oz (22 ml)
  • Soda water200 ml
  • NORSE Hibiscus Concentrate (finish)½ oz (15 ml)

Method

  1. 01

    Combine hibiscus concentrate, mint leaves, lemon juice, orange bitters, and honey syrup in a mixing glass.

    Muddle gently to release the mint oils.

  3. 03

    Add 200 ml of soda water and ice.

  4. 04

    Stir well for a good 30 seconds.

  5. 05

    Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.

  6. 06

    Float an additional ½ oz of hibiscus concentrate over the top and serve.

NORSE Tip

Strain well after muddling for a clean, clear pour. The extra half-ounce of hibiscus added at the end deepens the colour and intensifies the floral notes.
